"Turning" a Corner-16 Weeks Old!

Audrey is almost four months old & she is trying new "tricks" everyday. I feel like we are moving out of the infant/newborn stage & getting into the baby/toddler stage (these are not actual stages...I made them up).

She trys to sit up every time we lay her down...her little abs flex & her head goes up..you've almost got it Oddy!!!

She did a complete turn on Sunday from her back to her belly, decided she didnt like that & turned back over on her back! When she is on her belly she can't decide whether she wants to roll over or if she wants to try & crawl.

Audrey, you are so much more than your daddy & I could have ever ask for. We love you so much big girl. We are so proud of your determination to tackle each new task & are there every step of the way as you learn more about yourself & what you are capable of.

Here are some of your accomplishments:
1. Laughing out loud-this is one of my favorites!
2. You've tackled sucking your thumb & we now have to wrap you up with your arms out so you can get it at anytime.
3. You've found your hands & can pretty much tell them where to go now too!
4. You are working on rolling over, sitting up & crawling.

Daddy & Mommy love you so much Audrey!

Here are the latest pics of her ....she gets prettier & prettier each day!http://picasaweb.google.com/RyanSarahAudrey/Audrey4mos#

New Toy

Thank you so much Auntie Racheal for this AWESOME toy!!! Audrey loves it!!! She is not quite big enough to touch the floor but no worries because Daddy rigged it up so that she could still play.
There is a box on top of a thick book & she still can barely reach. Its hilarious to watch her in it... I have it on video but will have to get Ryan to upload it for me.

Apartments, Condo's & Houses OH MY!!!

Well the search is finally over (well for at least a year anyway). Ryan & I have found a place to live!!!
For those of you that don't know our story, here's the short version.... We moved to Pennsylvania two years ago & bought a lovely home thinking that we would probably be there 2-5 yrs. When I got pregnant & Ryan got an opportunity to move home we jumped at it.
Mrs. Trish says that no blessing comes without challenges & right now we are living those challenges. Ryan & I still own our home in PA & were lucky enough to find a really nice family to rent it out until the market goes back up & we can sell. We have been staying with my parents since July (we love you Nana & Duke but its time to go :) They have been so gracious to us & this living situation has actually been pleasant (remember we were away from our family for 2 years). I also gave up my job so that we could move home & since I was 6 mos pregnant...not many companies were jumping at the chance to hire me so we have been living on one income (which isnt easy these days).

We decided that we wanted to live in the Old Mandeville area & started looking. When the market didnt really produce what we were looking for we started looking for rentals.
Ryan found a listing on "craigslist" for a duplex in Old Mandeville & sent me the listing to set up an appointment. When we got to the house, the Agent told us that the listing had been printed wrong & the apartment was suppose to be a couple hundred more but the owner was going to honor the price. We felt like it was meant to be ours!

So here is our new home! We move in the first weekend of February!

New Years Resolutions

Today in church our pastor talked about goals for 2009. Thought I would share with you:
Below are 6 Resolutions for a Great Year

1. I will DECIDE that this year will be great!
There is power in our decisions, once we decide something, that decision becomes part of our life/destiny.

2. I will write down my goals.
One of my resolutions is to set goals for 2009 by the end of January (will post as soon as I can)

3. I will look for the good.
Its so easy to see only the negative but if we focus only on the good then we give the good things power over our life & dismiss the negative (taking there power over us away).

4. I will change what I need to change.

5. I will say the right WORDS.
We can either build each other up or tear each other down...what do you want to be doing?

6. I will remove Sin from my life-Commit to live for God.
